When I first chatted to Vix and Marcus about their wedding I knew I was in for something special. No detail would be left to chance, with both their immense organisation and drive this was going to be a party to remember! And what’s more it was on the family farm near Beccles, surely one of the most beautiful parts of the wonderful county of Suffolk. You’ve gotta love a Suffolk wedding, I might be biased having been Suffolk born and bred but we do have some amazing skies, long evenings – none of those hills to block out the light! And some beautifully ancient trees.
Vix and Marcus did not disappoint in the wedding planning stakes, so after the official ceremony on the Friday in the lovely town of Southwold (you can see those pictures here), Saturday was the big one with all their extended family and friends. What an amazing outdoors ceremony they organised, with Vix’s stepdad as the celebrant. Suffolk did not disappoint with those skies, ranging from deep blue and bright sun to black and pouring with rain, but it all happened at the right times, as often seems to be the way.
I’m so in love with the colours and brightness and fun of the whole event, not to mention the amazing bunch of people making up the guest list. I often go on about how much I love my work but I do, I get to work with some totally lovely clients at the best time of their lives who I genuinely really like and respect. Vix and Marcus are some of those…
So take a look and feel the love from this beautifully colourful summer Suffolk wedding!
