Well what an immense pleasure this was. With some weddings you just immediately get the vibe that it’s going to be an amazing vibe with the utmost attention to detail. Amanda and Jimmy’s late summer wedding at the ever beautiful Hush Venues, just outside Norwich, did not disappoint. After a beautiful ceremony at Sprowston Church, Hush Venues had been set up with an ever-cool open fronted tipi and decorated in a rustic style with a nod towards Jurassic Park – which totally fits in with nature of Hush, I mean it feels wild and lush. Totally what I love from a photographic and sense-of-place perspective!
The whole day had a wonderful DIY feel to it, with a definite festival type feeling, which is what I love about Hush Venues, it’s a blank canvas for you to make your own, the kids have so much space to run around and explore away safely away from any roads or anything. Amanda and Jimmy had even gone to the trouble of organising a treasure hunt!
And wow, what a gorgeous late summer day it was, it was one of those days you just love as a photographer, beautiful fluffy clouds and wonderful sun, especially during the key ‘golden hour’! I love it when couples allow the flexibility to make sure we can go and get some photos at that time, the hour or so before sunset.
Anyway check it out!
