A warm October afternoon. Such a beautiful day to be out with the camera, amazing light and amazing colours. It’s times like this I realise what I love about autumn, the end of summer is always a bit sad, but warm jumpers, boots, crunchy walks, the smell of wood smoke, fires – gotta love it.

I love Emily and Matthew’s attention to detail, they were dressed to match the beginning of autumn. And I love the little slate heart with their wedding date on. Perfect for their save the date cards. I always like it when couples turn up to shoots with ideas, photography is after all a collaboration between subject and photographer. The more ideas there are floating about, the more dynamic the photographs. I reckon. So I’m very much looking forward to the¬†wedding next year. I know it’s going to be amazing! After all, wedding planning is about creativity and design, I know that over the next year there is going to be an immense amount of detail going into the wedding plans, and it will definitely make for great photographs…

But anyway we had a lovely day with Douglas their amazing¬†Springer Lab and we even met up with Emily’s parents. So much love!
